Being a fan is not measured by the number of games you attend, or the amount of team gear you own. Being a true hockey fan is finding your team on your own terms, not just going for the best team. Being a hockey fan means you stick by your team, no matter how much of a winning drought they got themselves into. Simply put, being a hockey fan is believing that one day, your team will rise from the ashes no matter what.
isn’t it weird how like 200 years ago the average height for a full grown man was somewhere around 5 feet tall because of the amount of nutrients in their diet back then and now everyone is like 6 feet tall so maybe like 10000 years from now humans will become nutrient consuming monsters and be able to grow to like thirty feet and we’ll use trees as baseball bats and eat planets for meals
“This is an easy team to come into. When I look around the dressing room, I see that I have played with six or seven guys down in the minors, and of course it is easy to talk to the Swedes as we have a lot in common. It was fairly easy to walk into this dressing room. There are so many friendly guys and they make it easy. If I need a little help, they’re here to give me all the help they can. And the team just asks me to play the game, make sure that I don’t make mistakes and do my best. It’s the same that is being asked of every player.”— Jannik Hansen (via lovelaughxo)
